Vila Nova vai se transformar em SAF?
Entenda as perspectivas para a implementação do modelo no clube colorado
O Vila Nova está se preparando para se tornar uma Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF). A informação foi confirmada pelo presidente do conselho do Tigrão, Décio Caetano, para o repórter Igor Santhiago, da equipe das Feras do Esporte, da BandNews Goiânia.
No entanto, o profissional afirmou que por ser uma novidade no futebol brasileiro, é necessário prudência na gestão e implementação do modelo. Pensando nessa nova realidade, há cerca de dois anos o Vila Nova contratou uma consultoria para auxiliar na análise de ofertas de investidores externos. Contudo, Décio destaca alguns cuidados necessários.
“Não quer dizer que o clube virar SAF vai realmente mudar o patamar, mas é importante a SAF, essa entrada de recursos no futebol e essa profissionalização. Eu acredito muito mais num clube bem gerido, bem administrado, do que uma SAF vindo e colocando recurso no clube. […] Eu acredito em SAF, mas eu acredito em boas gestões. A SAF vai dar um fôlego mais rápido para o clube, […] mas a forma como hoje a gente vem conduzindo o Vila Nova, com certeza vamos alcançar os resultados promissores “.

Além disso, o presidente do Vila Nova, Hugo Jorge Bravo destacou que um dos objetivos dessa gestão é melhorar a imagem do time colorado, formar equipes competitivas, melhorar a estrutura e equalizar dívidas. “Tornar o nosso clube mais atrativo para o mercado. E eu não tenho dúvida que o salto a mais, talvez vai ser passar por uma SAF”, afirmou o profissional.
Em resumo, Hugo afirmou que a implementação de uma SAF pode ser uma forma de encurtar o caminho, mas que não necessariamente é a solução. A exemplo, ele citou que os dois maiores clubes do Brasil, no momento, não são sociedades anônimas: o Palmeiras e o Flamengo.
Por fim, o presidente destacou que o Vila Nova ainda não está com a questão burocrática fechada para se transformar em SAF. “Por toda uma questão tributária, nós vamos fazer somente quando chegar uma proposta concreta”, concluiu Hugo Jorge Bravo.
