O atacante mostrou excelência dentro do clube e assim foi premiado pela federação pelo seu grande campeonato. Luiz Fernando foi o artilheiro do Campeonato Goiano, fazendo 10 gols ao longo da competição. Além disso, o atacante foi o Craque do Campeonato, pela sua atuação em campo, já que além de goleador o jogador fez grandes assistências e participações nas partidas.
Por fim, Luiz Fernando ainda entrou na Seleção do Campeonato, que contou com os melhores jogadores da competição. Além dele, o zagueiro, Lucas Gazal, e o meio-campista, Shaylon, também entraram na escalação dos melhores jogadores do Goianão 2023.
