Visando a partida diante do Palmeiras no dia 15, o elenco do Goiás se reapresentou na última terça-feira (5). Já nesta quarta-feira (6), após o treinamento, o volante Luis Oyama e o zagueiro Sidimar conversaram com a imprensa.
Primeiramente, Oyama comentou sobre a intensidade dos treinamentos do técnico Armando Evangelista e, em seguida, sobre o próximo confronto do Goiás fora de casa. Na sequência, Sidimar exaltou a boa recuperação após com contusão muscular na posterior da coxa direita.
Em resumo, com Lucas Halter fora do confronto, já está com a Seleção Brasileira Pré-Olímpica, Sidimar deve ficar com a vaga. O zagueiro, entretanto, disse que o treinador português é quem decide e também falou sobre o jogo diante do Palmeiras.

“ Os treinos têm sido bastante intensos. Além disso, com o calor aqui de Goiânia, aumenta ainda mais a transpiração e o cansaço. A metodologia do Mister é muito boa. Ele nos pede intensidade e coragem para jogar. […] Sabemos da força deles jogando em casa. No entanto, nada é impossível. Estamos muito focados e treinando forte para conseguir somar pontos diante do Palmeiras.”

Sidimar se coloca à disposição para substituir Lucas Halter
“ A recuperação foi muito boa. Fizemos um trabalho forte na fisioterapia. Portanto, já estou recuperado e treinando com o grupo. Quanto à titularidade, a gente deixa para o técnico Armando Evangelista. Sei que ele tem o grupo todo à mão e que tem grandes jogadores para repor na posição do Lucas Halter. Espero dar o meu melhor nos treinos para que eu possa estar à disposição junto aos meus companheiros para poder ajudar neste jogo contra o Palmeiras.”
Zagueiro comenta sobre próximo desafio do Goiás no Brasileirão e fala dos treinamentos do Mister
“ Iremos jogar da mesma forma que a gente vem jogando: equipe bem compacta, neutralizando os espaços do adversário. Com isso, esperamos fazer isso diante do Palmeiras para buscar um resultado positivo. […] O trabalho do Mister é muito intenso, muito pegado. O grupo todo tem se dedicado ao máximo.”
