O Vila Nova derrotou o América-MG na 23ªrodada da Série B. A partida aconteceu no Estádio Onésio Brasileiro Alvarenga (OBA), no último domingo (25).
O artilheiro da equipe colorada, Henrique Almeida, destacou a importância da vitória: “é o que a gente vem fazendo desde o início do campeonato, e esta refletindo agora no 2º turno”. Alesson, também atacante do Vila Nova, ainda destacou que é necessário acreditar no resultado a todo momento.
“O mais importante é o grupo estar em evolução. Nosso time vem em uma evolução, passando pelo momento de dificuldade dentro da competição, que eu acho normal, todas as equipes vão oscilar dentro do campeonato. Agora é manter concentrado e os pés no chão”, concluiu Alesson.

Henrique Almeida ainda destacou a presença e o apoio dos torcedores colorados: “a gente é muito forte dentro de casa, a torcida vem, comparece. Mais uma vitória dentro de casa e isso é muito importante para a sequência do campeonato”. Alesson ainda completou: “a importância é gigantesca de ter o nosso torcedor do nosso lado. Sabemos da força que a gente tem quando o OBA está lotado. É muito difícil bater a gente aqui dentro de casa. Eles fazzem total diferença”.
“Eu me sinto em casa aqui. Me sinto confortável em todos os jogos. Muito feliz pelo meu desempenho, mas mais feliz ainda pela vitória de todo grupo”, completou Alesson sobre a sensação de atuar pelo Vila Nova.

O goleiro do Vila Nova é um dos destaques do clube colorado nas últimas rodadas. Acerca do desempenho da equipe, Dênis Júnior destacou: “Não sofrendo gols, estamos muito perto da vitória”.
