A equipe da casa abriu o placar logo no primeiro minuto de jogo. Diego Jardel cobrou escanteio e, na primeira trave, Moisés desviou de cabeça, inaugurando o marcador no Estádio do Café. Em seguida, aos 6’, pela esquerda, Iago Dias cruzou rasteiro e quase Zé Vitor chegou para empurrar para as redes.
Aos 10’, em resposta, Rafael Donato lançou para Guilherme Parede, que levou para dentro e finalizou com perigo. Neto Pessoa, aos 12’, arriscou, mas mandou por cima da meta. Posteriormente, os goianos chegaram novamente com o seu camisa 9, no entanto, Neneca fez a defesa, aos 17’. O jogo, na sequência, ficou morno, com as duas equipes trocando passes. Aos 38’, o Tigre balançou as redes.
Rodrigo Gelado cruzou da esquerda, e Rafael Donato subiu para cabecear no cantinho. Contudo, após checagem do VAR, o gol foi anulado por impedimento. Seguiu 1 x 0. Pressão do Vila Nova! Aos 19’, após reposição errada do goleiro do Tubarão, Luciano Naninho ficou com a bola e tocou para Guilherme Parede, que chutou para fora. Rafael Donato ajeitou e, aos 26’, Everton Ribeiro cabeceou, mas Neneca conseguiu fazer a defesa. Aos 36’, Diego Renan finalizou, e o arqueiro do Tubarão segurou sem dificuldade. Por fim, sem mais emoções, vitória do Londrina por 1 x 0.
