CBF divulga calendário da Copa Verde de 2024; confira todos os detalhes
Ainda não foi divulgada lista com clubes que irão participar desta edição do torneio
Iniciando a semana, nesta terça-feira (7), a Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) divulgou detalhes da Copa Verde de 2024. A saber, na edição mais recente do torneio, que terminou em maio deste ano, o Goiás superou o Paysandu na final e levantou o troféu da competição pela primeira vez.
Ao todo, serão 10 datas no calendário da próxima temporada. Em resumo, o torneio tem início marcado para 21 de fevereiro, enquanto a grande final está prevista para acontecer no dia 8 de maio. A saber, a CBF investiu R$ 6 milhões na Copa Verde de 2023, com investimento e premiações recordes.
A competição deve contar com clubes das regiões Centro-Oeste e Norte, além de equipes do Espírito Santo. Atual campeão do torneio, o Goiás recebeu R$ 400 mil, o dobro do valor pago ao campeão da competição de 2022. Além disso, o vencedor da Copa Verde também garante vaga direta na 3ª fase da Copa do Brasil do ano seguinte. Por fim, a CBF ainda não divulgou a lista dos times que irão participar da competição regional.

Presidente da CBF exalta competição
“ A Copa Verde já virou tradição no futebol brasileiro e é um orgulho para a CBF. A premiação recorde faz parte da nossa estratégia de tornar cada vez mais a competição atrativa para os clubes, federações, torcedores e parceiros. […] Além de ser uma vitrine para clubes e atletas da região, a Copa Verde também tem o objetivo de fomentar o desenvolvimento do futebol em cada um desses Estados. Além disso, trabalharemos para tornar a Copa Verde autossustentável até o final de 2026. Investimentos não faltarão”, garantiu o presidente da CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, em maio.
