O Atlético-GO não será mais comandado por Vagner Mancini. O técnico está demitido do cargo após sete jogos, cinco derrotas e dois empates à frente do Mais Querido. Mancini chegou para substituir Jair Ventura, que atualmente comanda o Juventude.
O novo treinador será Umberto Louzer, velho conhecido da torcida, que havia sido demitido no ano de 2023 de forma correta. Louzer chega com um contrato até o fim da temporada. Umberto já está à caminho de Goiânia.
