No último domingo (28), depois de derrota para o Vila Nova em clássico, Adson Batista conversou com a imprensa. Primeiramente, o presidente do Atlético-GO analisou a partida e revelou que vê que o time vem melhorando. Entretanto, o dirigente citou ‘falhas individuais’ nos gols do adversário.

“ Eu acho que o Atlético está melhorando. As pessoas não podem analisar só o resultado. Entretanto, jogo a jogo, o time está melhorando. Contra o Vila Nova, nosso time já teve coisas boas. Nós subimos um pouco a linha. Tivemos momentos muito bons. O problema foi que nós entregamos dois gols. O Vila jogou um clássico de maneira muito disputada, muito viril. Enquanto isso, nós jogamos mais um jogo. De toda forma, eu vi o Atlético fazendo uma boa partida.
Talvez o Vágner Love tenha feito a melhor partida dele aqui. Vem pegando ritmo, tem melhorando… Foi mais um clássico. Nós perdemos, mas não precisa de desespero.
