Com mais uma derrota na Série B, o Goiás se vê a cada dia mais distante do G4. Contudo, ainda restam chances matemáticas difíceis, mas não impossíveis para o acesso do time. Após o revés diante do Botafogo-SP, fora de casa, na última segunda-feira (9), Lucas Andrino concedeu uma entrevista sincera.
Em resumo, o diretor de futebol do Esmeraldino expressou a frustração com o resultado negativo e avaliou o desempenho da equipe. Assim, Andrino demonstrou ainda acreditar nas chances do Verdão, mas cobrou uma real mudança e despertar para que isso aconteça.

“ Uma derrota muito dolorida. Um 1° tempo bem feito pela equipe e depois um desastre no 2° tempo. Um comportamento inadmissível, muito do que a gente já vem falando ao longo de muitas rodadas. Infelizmente, não tirando o mérito do Botafogo-SP, nós perdemos, para variar, para nós mesmos, pelo nosso comportamento e pela forma como a gente está se predispondo a buscar o acesso. É muito pouco.
O acesso depende de muita coisa que precisa melhorar aqui internamente, senão infelizmente esse objetivo não vai ser atingido. […] O que a gente precisa é acordar. Se não acordar, as coisas não vão acontecer. “

“ É isso que nos dói tanto, justamente saber da competência do nosso elenco e a gente não conseguir entregar tudo aquilo que nós temos como expectativa do nosso torcedor, da administração e de tudos que estão enxergando o quão robusto é esse elenco. O Goiás tem total chance de acesso, mas se não acordar, infelizmente as coisas não vão acontecer. E como tristeza que eu falo isso. Agora a única coisa que nós resta é cobrar, trabalhar e tentar encontrar um caminho. “
