Na tarde deste sábado (31), Novorizontino e Vila Nova se enfrentaram pela 24ª rodada da Série B, no OBA. Dessa maneira, o Tigrão buscou o triunfo longe dos seus domínios, mas acabou perdendo por 2 x 0. A saber, Luisão e Neto Pessoa marcaram os gols da partida.

1° tempo
A partida começou com um ritmo muito truncado. Marcado pelo caráter pegado e muito faltoso, o 1° tempo teve os minutos iniciais tímidos. Assim, a primeira chance de perigo surgiu apenas aos 17′, pelo lados dos visitantes, que tinham a vantagem na posse de bola. Alesson pegou a sobra de Henrique Almeida, tirou muito do goleiro e acertou a trave.
Na sequência, o duelo ficou movimentado e o time paulista respondeu, aos 26′. Depois de um cruzamento perigoso, Rodolfo tentou o desvio de cabeça, mas mandou para fora. Já aos 29′, Elias saiu na cara do gol com Jordi e parou no boa defesa do goleiro aurinegro. Em resumo, o Novorizontino cresceu antes do intervalo e teve mais duas chances de sair na frente. Aos 45′, Rodolfo apareceu novamente, mas Dênis Júnior estava lá para impedir. Depois, aos 45′, foi a vez de Waguininho tentar sem efetividade.
2° tempo
A segunda etapa começou como a anterior havia terminado. Os donos da casa começaram tomando a iniciativa do ataque e tiveram a primeira chance do 2° tempo. Aos 13′, contando com um desvio em Ralf, Lucca quase encobriu Dênis Júnior, que conseguiu espalmar e evitar o tento do Tigre de São Paulo. Porém, o goleiro vilanovense não pôde fazer muito no minuto seguinte. Na cobrança de escanteio, coube a Luisão cabecear para o fundo das redes e marcar: 1 x 0 Novorizontino.
Após uma série de mudanças nas duas equipes, o Aurinegro seguiu firme na busca pelo segundo. Dessa maneira, o fator casa surtiu efeito com uma regra já conhecida no futebol: a lei do ex. Aos 31′, Neto Pessoa recebeu de Marlon e finalizou com a perna esquerda para ampliar e matar a partida: 2 x 0.
