Aproveitando os últimos dias da pequena janela de transferências do mês de abril (que termina na próxima semana), o Goiás ainda reformula o elenco. Dessa maneira, o Alviverde está investindo em novos reforços à mesma medida que dispensa outros jogadores que não estão nos planos do técnico Márcio Zanardi para a disputa da Série B.
A saber, muitos nomes já chegaram e estão treinando com o restante do grupo. Enquanto isso, o clube procura outras peças pontuais para compor posições carentes e que requerem atenção. Portanto, foi a vez do meio campo ganhar ainda mais força com mais um gringo que entra para o plantel esmeraldino.

Através de uma fonte de fora do Verdão, o repórter André Rodrigues, das Feras do Esporte, obteve a informação de uma negociação do exterior. Trata-se do meia atacante Romeo Benítez que pertence ao Athletico-PR.
Em resumo, o atleta de apenas 21 anos atuou em seis partidas este ano, marcou uma vez e concedeu uma assistência. Já na carreira, Benítez tem 71 jogos, 12 tentos e nove passes para gol.
