Foi com grande pesar que recebemos a notícia do falecimento do ex-zagueiro Lino, aos 39 anos de idade, vítima de um infarto. Lino, uma figura emblemática no cenário do futebol goiano, deixou sua marca indelével na história do Atlético-GO, clube pelo qual conquistou momentos inesquecíveis.
Entre esses momentos, destaca-se o gol que garantiu o título goiano de 2014 para o Dragão. Aos 48 minutos do segundo tempo, em uma partida memorável contra o Goiás, Lino escreveu seu nome na história do clube ao marcar o gol decisivo, que ficaria eternamente gravado na memória dos torcedores.
