Fiquei 19 anos dentro do clube e nunca havia saído. Tive bons momentos, claro, e também momentos ruins, que foram importantes para mim, para que eu adquirisse experiência, bagagem. Confesso que tive propostas de outros clubes, mas eu vejo o Atlético como um time de alto nível. Com isso, foi minha preferência.

“ Tenho que trabalhar e lutar por posição. Eu sou só mais um jogador. Não posso chegar falar que tenho que jogar em tal posição. O Atlético-GO é maior do que eu, é maior do que tudo. A instituição sempre vai ficar, mas o jogador passa. Dessa forma, o mais importante é eu poder entregar da melhor maneira possível para o time. Acredito que sempre tem espaço para melhorar, nem que seja 1%, 1,5%. Você sempre tem que procurar evoluir. […] Contra o Goiás, foi o segundo jogo do Campeonato Goiano ainda.
